Splitter slowed down !!!

I bought a 30 tonne splitter awhile ... over time it seems to have slowed down in how quick it splits and returns !!
I have given it regular servicing but this hasnt helped !!

So my question is what are the usual causes of it running slow ???

Maybe your beam/wedge is binding? Try oiling it to see if any difference?

failing pump or faulty selector valve

Check all your lines. I've had the line from the tank to the pump collapse and slow things down.

Check Motor r.p.m. also could flowrate pump output. Also make sure control valve is making a full stroke and or travel of spool .

I will clean it up once i get a chance ... needs a good degrease anyhow from the grease on the beam !!
