hay guys i have a McCullough pro mac 650 and was wondering how to remove the clutch so i can change the sprocket

The first thing to know is that chainsaws have reverse threads on the clutch. You need to turn it clockwise to loosen it.
To stop the crankshaft from turning while you're removing the clutch, remove the spark plug and feed some cord down the plug hole. When the piston comes up, it will squish the rope and stop the motor from turning. Then just put a wrench on the cluth and turn.
