Hi,
I have a Sthil 051 AV with electronic ignition that wont spark suddenly. What Ive traced it back to is the small wire coming out of the ignition coil that connects to the ignition chip (A), when completely disconnected from the chip and kill switch, completes a circuit to ground using a meter. Am I correct in assuming this means the coil is bad/shorted?
