The plug wire pulled out of the boot, I shoved it back in and the saw ran. Should I just order new wire or repair what is there? Should the plug wire be soldered to the spiral plug connector?
Stihl 009 Do I need a new plug wire or can this be repaired?

No, it looks OK, put it back on.
The 90 degree part goes into the hole in the side of the wire. And it goes into the boot.

The end of that plug wire looks pretty ratty. You may want to consider replacing it. Here's the page from the shop manual addressing that.
I had to repair a coil the other week and was wondering if you can buy the coil wire by the foot?
Would you have a copy of the whole shop manual? Don't need it right now but ya never know what might show up here. thanks steve.

You can buy the coil wire by meters. There is 1 or 10meters availible at the Stihl dealer. Order number for 1m would be 0000 405 0600. It has to be cut to lengh. You would need 360mm from the coil to the spark plug.
