Stihl 009 Metal coil/spring pulled out of spark plug boot?

My 009 spark plug boot came a part, the coil/spring was stuck to the plug when i removed the wire, The coil had a short piece of straight metal sticking off it, I just stuck it back in and put some dielectric grease on everything, It fired right up, is it ok like this? Thanks

If you cleaned it up, stuck it back into the plug wire, put a little dielectric grease on it then pushed it back inti the boot then yes you did it right,
