Stihl 024AV alignment problem, swollen mounts?

Here, I took the junker I had apart. They are the same height.

Take off the chain catcher and pull the plug, then work the mount back into place.

Sometimes I use a BIG "C" clamp to press these back together. If the mount(s) is/are in bad shape you might consider replacing them .

Hi friends!

Stihl scoliosis is now fixed. I got new mounts, which were way shorter and not as thick as old swollen ones. Old were also very soft compared to new ones. I got the standard version of the mounts. Part dealer said, that oil is the reason for swollen mounts.
