Hi everyone. i have two saws to choose from. A 026 with decompression valve or an MS 360. I know the obvious. MS 360 is bigger but as far as reliablity and use which should i choose are these both commercial saws? Thanks for any advice.

If you are looking for a saw that will be your only one, by all means go with the 360. It has more displacement and will run a 20" bar with authority. The 026 can't.
If you need a smaller saw that is nimble and fast for brush or limbing, go with the 026.
Your intended purpose will dictate which to go with.
Need more info to make a better recommendation.

Add: Yes, they are both pro saws with magnesium crankcases.
Well here the thing. my dad has both at the cottage. use it for cutting firewood. I could just keep both but probably wouldn't use both at a time. What could i realistically sell the 026 for if i were to part with it. Its in relatively good shape 16 inch bar.

Lets start from the beginning. You are on the arborist web site on a Saturday night. Which means We all have CAD. We repair, accumulate, Modify saws. Also look through the pawn shops and craigslist ads for saws. We Rarely sell saws. Especially tried and true models like the 026. The only real choice is to keep both.
