I thought it was comical that it took so many goes to get a cut where it didn't block the sprocket cover.

The Wt-194 is yet to be opened up and investigated
 
I stripped the WT-194 carb and the fuel jet holes in the carb look identical.
I will have to get a micro drill set to check sizes to be sure.
 
Also check the metering orifice under the metering valve. A smaller orifice will give a longer 'ramp' of the fuel off of idle. I expect that the biggest difference between carbs (for a given model) is the metering spring, the metering orifice and the air bleed/transition holes.
