This is going to probably sound stupid, but I cannot figure out how to get the clutch assembly off! I even bought a clutch removal tool so I can replace it's shoes. Can anyone tell me the procedure for this?

Don't have that saw, but.. remove bar and chain. remove spark plug and insert piston stop. unscrew clutch. mine has an arrow to remind me which way is "off"..(clockwise)

Imho

never use a piston stop. Do a search to discover "why".
Use a piece of rope instead, just be sure that the transfer ports are closed when you coil the rope inside the cylinder. Works like a charm.

On clutches it is righty-loosy and lefty-tighty
