I don't see how there's any way it would've started its a 4mm difference in bore. I think it's just the ring caught and it really yanked the piston.
I'm still debating this. I have a craftsman 3.7 that will be going here soon. If I sell parts from this I still have 4 saws. Every ranging from a 14", 16", 18", and a 20". Now getting this running allows me to maybe throw a larger bar on the craftsman and put a 20" on this maybe. I've read they're solid saws. Just torquey. Not fast.
