LOL Well I would not say that, there are a lot of people that would buy a quality product faster if it is OEM rather than rebuilt foreign parts. To me the satisfaction of a quality product with less profit is more important than selling semi-quality with larger profits.
Heck if you want bastard rebuilds they are everywhere for sell just look here, e-bay, and the craigslist.

I see no reason not to clean that cylinder and reuse with a meteor piston. If it doesnt clean up, find a good used cylinder for $100 and put in a meteor piston. I found a good used 12mm used Gilodarni for $100 2 weeks ago.
