eBay recently changed their International shipping policy.
All International shipments now go to a central point before leaving the country. If any item is on the US Customs 'restricted' list, it doesn't go.
Here's the weird part: The seller gets to keep the money. The buyer gets a refund. The item is turned over to a 3rd party, who then destroys the item. Yes, that's correct ... destroys the item.
I sent a NOS carb to a buyer in the UK and had this happen to me. Other people have had saws destroyed because of this policy. It's stupid.
