the short answer is no...

my hyway kitted 45mm setup runs around 200 psi ...no popup. the hyway cylinder kit has a wide squish band. no need to machine it. how much more comp you want?

After reading the thread tonight about high compression saws and longevity I think I should stay south of 200.

Thinking about buying an extra piston just to experiment with it though, even considered trimming intake skirt .020 or so if it allows to sdvance timing some. I've never done that but I know some guys do.

For me I leave the piston stock and mess with the cylinder after I have cut the riser to set squish....seems to work

Speaking of longevity...who cares? 350 parts are cheap and it's easy to work on...set it up how you want it and run it. Then build a few more for "backup "
