Hello there, I've got a 14 year old MS290. My question is do I need to remove the handle to replace the oil line.

Thanks, Phil

There is an O ring you should replace. I pulled up the repair manual and Illustrated Parts List on lime but couldn't get downloaded. If you can't find it, go to the beg for manuals sticky. Those guys are awesome.

Do you mean the o-ring on the ms250 oil line?

Here is the oil line on the MS290.

I was referring to the one between oil pump and nipple. I can't find the crankcase o ring where the elbow would seat ??:I have a ms 390 disassembled. I'll look.
Apologies to OP, just trying to suggest a couple "while you're atits"
