You are completely right - I wouldn't want a 20" on the 361 either, but that is a balance issue, not a power one.....

I wouldn't want anything else! Nose down is prefect!

I have a 16" b&c on my 290, and the main reason I want a muffler mod is that I think the 290 can be a little weak for even the 16. My dealer said I could put up to a 20" b&c, but I think you would need skip chain to go through much of anything. My next saw purchase will be a 361.

On an unrelated note, does anyone have any info on the MS 360? A friend of mine has one and it will kick my saws butt!!

Sure it will, the 360 was the pro saw that was replaced by the 361.
