Stolen chainsaws in VT

I've been doing the usual rounds on craigslist looking for saws and I have seen a couple recent ads of people offering rewards for their stolen saws. The most recent is in VT figured the post would get the most attention in the Chainsaw section. I hate thieves.

I tried to run down some leads for the guy that had the J'red stolen.
I saw all (7?) of those posts too. They don't even list model(s).
How are we supposed to try to help these guys if we don't know what we're looking for ?

BTW, keep away from the VT CL saws ! LOLJK
