The red guy looks alot better.

I think to the best of my knowledge and findings, that the picture is actually of a 999. The 999F was the later model with the taller top cover (same as the oleo-mac 999F) and had the manual oiler, where as the earlier 999's didn't have the manual oiler....

I could be totally wrong, but that Is the only determining factor I have found that differentiates a 999 from a 999F......

I'm really hoping that my modded 650 will run with the 385, but will find out soon enough.
The ports in the 650 seem smoother and larger than the 064 or even the 066, so it may have potential.

I for one will be the first to get the big bore kit.
Ya baby, that's what I'm talking about, 99.9cc
Woo hoo! Just like my 999 Oleo Mac!

John
Boy John, I do not think the 650 has a chance.

I'll second that. The orginal 066 was an "big bore" 064, and that alone was sufficient to give many of them (but not all) crank problems...

BB kits

So it sounds like the 660 BB kits are going to fit the 650 and 066 then? I know the 066, but didnt know if the 650 would.
I know you took your 650 in on trade gypo, but it sure seems like if someone was buying new, why not pay the extra $110 bucks and get the 660 off the bat.
MS650 MAGNUM 5.20 cu. in. - 84.9cc 20" - 6.4 hp(16-36") $889.95 w/solid bar
MS660 MAGNUM 5.59 cu. in. - 91.6cc 24" - 7.0 hp(16-36") $999.95 w/solid bar

I meant for my 064, but it appears that my bottom end will not survive a big bore kit.
