In Baltimore now, great trade show, tons of equipment and gear, great people, well worth the trip so far...

Got back last night, great show spent oodles of $$$ and saved a bunch also. Sherrills had the best working display of arborist equipment at the show in my opinion. Live demos, gear setups and displays all very well done.
Vendors had lots of new stuff on display, some new reversable stump grinding teeth coming from vermeer look promising, less weight than green teeth for smaller machines. Leonardi has a new Stump cutter wheel design that actually has a shock absorber built into the wheel to cut down on machine stress, and a no bolt reversable tooth that installs with a rubber mallet in about 4 seconds. Conehead chippers coming out with an installation package that will allow you to purchase their chipper body and chute to mount on your frame and engine. Neat idea if you have a blown chipper with bad bearing or cutter wheel damage but have a good frame and motor, you can order the conehead package and mount. Really neat ideas and nice stuff, look forward to Hartford next year. :)
