what did you install? what do you do?

NBN satellite Serg.

I did an install down at Aberfeldy. This lady and her son live down in a valley from Aberfeldy. She is on solar etc. Her son is doing long distance education and has been relying on 512kb (yes you read right!) download speed when at it's peak. With the install today it gave the 5.75mb down and 1030kb up.

I got some pics (not picks) and some Gopro footage.

good to hear its getting out to places. I dont know much about it. The little I heard was when the oppostion crapped on and had a better plan to do it cheaper/quicker but a lower quality system, which imo seemed short sited.

what is your trade that you got involved with it?

Neil, I hope you not suggesting I attempt to cut a large piece of soft green wood with the chinga 070?.
I have already replaced the clutch once, I don't want to do it again, that saw is strictly for nothing over 6"....and NO hardwood

Just because the saw is over 100cc people just assume it can cut big wood.......but they don't take into account the Chinese factor! :msp_ohmy:

I appreciate the Oleo Mac 284 MPF every time I start it, has a muffler mod and it's been ported ;)

Danarm ? Everyone thinks the Titanic sunk because it hit an iceberg but the real truth is that the pallet load of Danarms in the cargo hull slid to one side causing the Titanic to topple over.

Just trying to help you enjoy the Oleo more by letting you admire the china special, perhaps when they called it a 070 they ment 007 little special.

From logging I was looking for a change for awhile. A mate was doing antennas so I went out with him and learnt the game. From antennas it progressed into FTA satellite and pay TV. I got mucked around by a company chasing me for a month to go and work for them doing Austar I pushed them to train me in the NBN satellite side. I had to take on work outside my immediate area but it has looked after me well.

This second photo is of the job I did yesterday at Codes Flat/Donnelly Creek. The dish right rear is the one I installed. The one on the left is the one being replaced. It is currently receiving of Optus D2 satellite where the new one is off Thaicom 4. The other grey dish is Foxtel.
