The ones I did were a little different. And bridges were harmed in the making of them...That's what my hybrid is at also
Traditional porting is all that's required to make one run like this.
We'd have to get them all together and run them or dyno them to see a difference.
Id love to see that !
It would be fun to watch. The dyno runs would be cool. A faster data acquisition system would be needed.
A dyno build off for the forum would be so cool but i cant imagine the fights it would start..all the builders do the same model and get em to chad.

Hasn't there been saws of the same model on the dyno?
A few of them. It would be cool to see 10 or so there in one day.

Mine has bridges also
I think the two saws were tested on different days under different conditions. However, both were impressively stronger than the stock saw tested the same day. (Note: the #s from the stock saw did not stay the same)
Speaking of which, I have not seen any dyno runs for a while, what is up with that?
I would also love to see a dyno run of a ported 044, a hybrid, and a ported 046 on the same day. Would be very interesting. Hey, throw in a ported 441 too!

Dyno run or not I'll take the hybrid!
Very hard to beat them on the power/wt scale, but I'm also pretty impressed with the 10 mm 044 Randy ported for me. Said it was his "new formula", works for me! I also expected it to be much harder to start w/o the C/R.

I don't trust the comp release anymore on ported saws, I've had em leak by too many times I just plug em now

I think he is pretty impressed with that 461 he just had done, so I'm not so sure he will agree with you. They should both be very nice saws!
Ive slimmed down quite a bit , im keepin a few for fun and a few workers...ive been usin a butt ugly 361 and 241 for work..this hybrid is gonna be more of a fun saw i wont run it much.Might as well sell the rest of your saws if your gettin a hybrid
