Just go down to the local Stihl dealer in about 30-40 days and pick you up a new 440 when they are re-releashed. It's all you need for that size wood. It'll make a nice combo with your 026. Those kind of tops are our bread and butter.
Or smaller trees :msp_lol:

I just got a new 362 and I'm already looking at 660/880's, lol. That's the size of the one's I've been getting and making 2 passes gets REAL old, REAL quick.
barkeater, not sure the price on 440,but i bought a 441 magnum with a 20 bar for 850. btw i'm upstate ny too, 20 miles west of albany.
Aaaaahhhhh..... It's hung up in an elm tree, hoping it will settle to the ground by next weekend... Hoping! If not... well, it'll be a bit tricky!
