tilly HL carb. where does the cork ring go?

just about have the Mac 1-51 going. it has run but this carb redo was needed. its setup currently with 2 gaskets on the joining plate.. one on each side. looks like one will be replaced from the carb kit. now for the cork ring. my guess is that it is part of the carb that i didn't frig with.

set me straight.. you guys haven't failed me yet.

Gasket #18 on the strainer cover is usually made of cork is this what you are talking about?

yeah.. i was over at mike's site earlier.. i'm thinking thats what i'm talking about. i don't think that was one of the parts that i took out.. but if thats an oversight or was a missing part then that would explain a ton about its functionality.

on closer examination.. i definitely didn't open that part. starting just by a general clean out.. diaphragm replacement and needle clean out.
