Tilton Apparently changed their supplier for The Total branded chain. Was Sabre, now Windsor. I believe that is correct. (Does anyone else know for sure?)

Anyway with just a short period of experience, it seems to be O.K. stuff. I have not gotten any negatives back from the loggers yet.

Didn't somebody post here a while back that Windsor doesn't make their own stuff anymore either...their chain was now Carlton?

If so, would that mean that Tilton handles Carlton chain as well as Total (Windsor(Carlton)) chain?

Anybody know if Total bars are still made in Japan? I had one that lasted very well, must have been quite hard. At the last, I threw it out because it was losing chips and chunks out of the rails, but still was tight.

Tree Monkey, Is it Oregon, or Windsor from their Windsor factory? Their salesman told me it was Windsor.

To further confuse things, they did have some Oregon for a while, maybe still do. At least I was getting some stuff with 71s and 72s on the drive link. Now the latest I got was .325, .058 that says 58J on the drive link.

Does Oregon own Windsor or does Blount own both Oregon and Windsor? http://www.blount.com/Cutsytm.html
