I had found a Homelite auto EZ and super 2 on the offer up app. I have a couple old trimmers left from last summer that never sold. So I offered the guy a troy bilt straight shaft that I had a set of lines and a filter in and he jumped on it. The pictures on the listing where not the best but he said he had a couple other old saws I could choose from. The EZ was in pretty bad shape but the super two looked ok. I asked him what else he had and he drug out a craftsman that he was pretty proud of and an old poulan 2300AV that I jumped on. Cleaned the poulan replaced the lines, filter, carb diaphragm and H needle because it was missing, took it off one in a box I have of old carburetors. Sucker hit on the first pull. Runs great but it's loud. All done in about an hour. I haven't done anything more than shoot the super 2 with purple stuff but so far the trimmer I got for free and have less than $15 in the poulan. Not bad.
