Tree Seeds

I would like to know where could I find pine tree seeds...I am interested in
buying them but everyplace I go they keep telling me that there's no way to
buy a tree seed that I have to buy the plant itself in order to plant the
tree.....

How about finding the type of pine tree you want and collect pinecones. Most people won't object to your picking up their pine cones, it will save them the trouble!

What part of the cone is the seed?
Would you plant the whole cone or what?

Within the cone are seeds, they have a paper like "skin". You will only fine the seeds if the cones are ripe and open and if they are ripe the squirrels usually eat all of the seeds. Good luck.
