The saw has so much compression that it scares me to crank the saw. I can't get my foot through the handle hole all the way so when I try to crank the saw it will often flip out from under my foot. I have stepped across the saw and put my heal on the bottom plate of the saw but this is not a fool proof method of starting the saw either.
Once the saw has been cranked and run a little then it is not so hard to crank.
Do any of you guys have any tips on how to crank this unruly saw?
