Had a little time today to play with these two Homelites
that i just got up and running. One is a Super 2100, It
needed the right side main case replaced as well as a fuel
system tune up and ignition tune up. Runs pretty good now
but needs a new rim sproket. Has that funky 6 spline drum
and rim. The wood is very hard and it has a semi chisel chain.
It could have done better with full chisel and a 7 pin rim
instead of the 8 pin thats on it.

Next is a 750 i got from a fellow member. it needed a new intake
boot and fuel system tune up. Pulls really good. Has 404 full chisel.

Got them backwards. First vid is the 750.

That 2100 sounds sweet and it's ripping that log up! Looks to be faster than that 750.... another sweet saw. 750 was sounding a little rich until you lifted up on the handle and put a load on.... maybe you need bigger logs for testing??

Both great saws!

Thanks,
They both seem to run pretty decent. But i'm not
trying to win any races so i tend to run them a tad
on the rich side just to be safe. Bigger wood would
be great but i'm very thankful to get the big wood
that i am able to get.

Nice 750. Have to get one one day, but that 2100... sounded great, runs great, and has "the look". Reed ported saws. Does it every time I tell ya.

I gotta go take care of somethin', lol!

Thanks Lee, that's a matchup I've been wanting to see for a while. Old school torque vs new school rpm. both saws by the same manufacturer and within a couple of cc's. Oh and congrats on the big haul.
