What are your oldest saws?

The average age of my collection is rapidly aging. I was pretty wrapped up in nothing but later model Stihls for quite a while. That has been diversified quite a bit as I acquire older Homelites, Macs, David Bradley, etc. I'd love to have a Contra/Lightning someday as well as a 2-man saw. Here are my current oldest saws and when they were introduced.

Homelite Zip - 1958
Homelite SXL-925 - ? admittedly not as old
Mac 1-52 - 1962
Mac 10-10A - 1969 actual sale date
David Bradley 917.60029 - 1965
Stihl 07S - 1965
Stihl 08S - 1965
Stihl S10 - 1968

My oldest saw is the Mercury Disstion that has an Army Corp of Engineers
brass tag on it that states the year of manufacture as 1943. The Military shipping crate states that it was 'preserved' in 1957.
The Mall, the D-44, the Zip, EZ-6, and the David Bradley/Strunk are all
mid to late 50's.

This is an easy one. My 041. Constructed in the early 70"s. Stihl runs great and pulls an 18 B/C with grunt to spare. Ken

Probably a 3 way tie between my 031, Mac 10-10 and SXL-AO. All seem to be early 70's vintage.

Just got this today, while not my oldest, it is nearly as old as me

This came from an 86 year old "Coos Bay" logger, his gear shed is the stuff of dreams....better yet, I heard several wild tales while making our way through a half a bottle of JD and flipped through a few photo albums. One of my better days.

Haven't gotten that "old" saw bug...yet.

1984 is where I'm at right now.

It might sound silly, but "old" stuff just doesn't do much for me at this point in my life.

I don't even refer to my wife as my "old" lady.

Randy, the stories are as valuable as the saws themselves, get as many as you can!
I have never seen dogs like that, with the bifurcated ones on the bottom.
Is that common on old PNW saws?
