Went by this morning on my way to work. No noticeable change to the deck but they were obviously burning some of that green wood. Lots of smoke.

At first I thought that was an example of the lazy homeowner...but after further review...he went to a lot of work to stack it up on that deck. Maybe he had his wife do it instead.

All he had to do was to stick a concrete block under the middle of that stack and the deck would have remained levelish.

....of coarse he can subtract the cost of kindling as can can use that deck wood to start fires. That stain in the wood should also help for a fast start on his fires.
