I saw this climbing device called a Mimono. Works on the order of a Lockjack. Any comments, complaints, moans or groans. Rich.
What is this Mimono ???

it has a little more play in it then the LJ, it is cheaper and is suposed to be able to work on a wider variety of ropes then the LJ.
ye talk about no rope is true 1/2 in dia, and the sheaths will ahev different feels. One drawback with the LJ is that it works best on XTC, I've tried it on HiVee and was fine on natural crotch, but when I went to work on FC/TIP it would not hold me
. Lucky for me I was playing low. did not slide down too far to hurt.
The mimono was developed by Dave Spencer the french region of cah-nah-DAH. I also like his gear backpack
