What kind of wood is this?

Anyone know what kind of wood this is? Got it in a load of firewood. It's a hardwood with thick bark and no smell. Thank you.

Thick bark is how thick ? Photos of the wood's sanded flatsawn , edge grain and end grain surface would be helpful

Color-wise it resembles Cascara which has bark of "average thickness" for a PNW native hardwood
 
The bark has spots of resin on it so it's not a hardwood, I've got a piece I cut in a campground on the west coast (very old, very dry) and it turned out to be yew.
