What kind of wood is this?

Anyone know what kind of wood this is? Got it in a load of firewood. It's a hardwood with thick bark and no smell. Thank you.

Looks like some sort of fruit wood, maybe some type of Cherry. How does it split?

Only had this one piece and used the chainsaw to split. Bark is more like monkey tree bark not like cherry.

The bark looks a bit like Pear. Pear is smooth closed grained very hard wood.

Thick bark is how thick ? Photos of the wood's sanded flatsawn , edge grain and end grain surface would be helpful

Color-wise it resembles Cascara which has bark of "average thickness" for a PNW native hardwood

The bark has spots of resin on it so it's not a hardwood, I've got a piece I cut in a campground on the west coast (very old, very dry) and it turned out to be yew.

Then again, the bark also looks like a D Fir O/G .
