Finally finished up my 2065/372/BB hybrid franken-turd: complete overhaul with oem bearings/seals/gaskets, 52mm Nikasil BB p/c with an amateur woods port (attempted to copy Mastermind porting) RWJ-4 carb, modded muffler running 30” Makita bar with full chisel skip chain. Been hell trying to tune it; still 4 strokes in the cut, but even 1/8th turn in and it breaks up in the cut.
MS250 build is done and up for sale; complete overhaul with OEM bearings/seals/gaskets, Nikasil p/c, mild woods port (my first ever), muffler mod, Walbro 194, 18” b/c. Runs like an ANIMAL! Very impressed with it.
Stihl 056, complete overhaul with OEM bearings (holy shiite are those expensive!!)/seals/gaskets, original OEM 54mm p/c with my attempt at a woods port, stock Tilly carb, slightly modded 056 Super/Mag dual port muffler (previous owner had butchered some half-hazard holes in it) 25” b/c. Runs and idles, need to get the neighbor to make some test cuts.
Stihl 65 handheld blower (hand-me-down from my parents): general tune up, added my own set of cutters and the cleaned/sharpened the cutting teeth on vacuum side. Wouldn’t run worth a damn, pulled the muffler to clean the carbon and the muffler weighed about 2 lbs. Popped it apart and found the cat was clogged solid. Removed the entire cat plate (go suck a goats **** EPA) and reassembled the muffler and installed it. Minor tuning and the thing runs like never before.
McCulloch 840 gear drive: acquired this a little while ago. Looks pretty good, good compression, but no spark. Trying to establish if its the condensor or the pickup. All wiring has been cleaned and checked, points cleaned and re-cleaned, set the re-set the cleaned and set again, new plug: still no spark.
