There are different versions of the 009 from the info that I have.
009 Mini Boss™ from 1993-2006
009 from 1980-1989
009LE from 1982-2009
009 Mini Boss™ from 1993-2006
009 from 1980-1989
009LE from 1982-2009
In the US... the 009/009L was the homeowner version of a top handle. Honestly they were horrible top handles! They were better as a rear handled 010/011/012 version of the saw, or maybe (if you absolutely needed a top handle the 011AVT was marginal). The current saw that would be comparable at a dealer for a top handle would be a MS-150T or MS-193T. As a rear handle I think the 192CE 193CE and 150CE are now/still available.

I'll agree I'd never want to lug my 011avt up a tree but it spent 20+ years as a one saw plan before my FIL broke down and got an ms250. Don't have experience with the others but if there as reliable as this 011 no reason not to run one for the right price.
There really nothing like the 009, 010, 011.
