Where can I buy large felling spikes for a MS 461

I got mine from the dealer. Ask for the dogs for a 461 r model.

But does one stick out the front more? I believe you have to match the spikes to the cover you have or one will stick out more.

The covers are the same I'm pretty sure. I've not seen a difference in any of the other models with the small or large covers. You just need the right set of spikes. The last OEM spikes I bought were $12-14 a piece.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it was around 40$ for both dawgs and the roller chain catcher.

Baileys only seemed to have black. Do i have to get these at a dealer?

You can find the OEM five point spikes on eBay for cheaper than dealer $$$.

Yup, cover are the same no matter if it's the small one or big one.

just to be clear, all models share the same inner spike/dawg.

361, 362, 044/440, 441, 064, 066, 660 all use the same outer spike/dawg.

046/460 outer is different and no other saws uses it.

and 461 is also different from the rest.
