Anyone know where I can get one of these by this weekend?
The pickaroon is a huge back saver...and mine broke!

I'm north of chicago, near the WI border.

Just get a new handle. Or did the actual metal part break?

Crowbait, do you prefer the pickeroon over a pulpwood hook? what are you using it for? I ask because i love my pulp hook, but there are suprizingly few people out there who use them. Also Iv'e been thinking about getting a pickaroon.

I won a pickaroon head on ebay. I bought an ax handle at the hardware store and went to work on it with my grinder. Slammed it on there with a sledge and now I have a $15 pickaroon.

i love my pickaroon. i use it for moving chunks of wood, and for unloading my pickup, or trailer full of wood. really, really, really saves my back. I'll plan on going to my hardware store to get a regular handle, then go to work on getting it to fit, since I've got 3 trees worth of cottonwood to move this weekend.
