I picked up a used 170 from the local saw shop for around $100, thinking it might be a cheap way to see if I like chainsaw carving. Turns out I don't. But golly do I use the heck out of that lil saw! Very handy around the house and as a 'toss in the truck in case i see a burl' saw. If it weren't for it being a cheap spur of the moment pick-up, I would never have considered having one. But now that I have it, I wish I'd had one all along.
