I would like to be able to mount a saw on equipment to have with me. Does someone make and sell a heavy plastic bar scabbard I could bolt vertically to the side of the machine to carry the saw? Thanks

northern tools has a couple ATV attchment kits.

you could always take a carry box and bolt/screw it into your whatever; that's what I did for the manlift...

i'm looking for the canvas/nylon scabbards with the accessory pouches - as shown in the attachment to post 76 of the "women in chainsaws" thread...

Hi MOE,

A buddy of mine fashioned a scabbard out of PVC pipe & made a couple of brackets to attach to his woods truck, another for his ATV. Worked out pretty well. On the top, he bolted a bungee strap to secure the saw into the scabbard for when the road got rough.

I would offer some pics, but haven't seen him in awhile; actually, I was thinking of making up something like this for my ATV, & you just reminded me about it!

Regards, kattcutter :)
