I suspect that you'll regret parting with the ported 260 unless you're absolutely taken by the aesthetics of the Husqvarnas. The 346xp sounds like a pretty good deal, but it shouldn't run (in stock form) with a ported 260.

Why isn't MS261 an option? Either way, I suspect you'll be disappointed with any new stock saw. Buy a ported 50cc saw from the AS classifieds, or that guy on eBay that sells the race saws with heat tape on the front handlebar

I'm a huge XP fan , but with the economy the way it is , I'd keep the ported Stihl . I'm confident that it will cut faster than either of the stock XP's you mentioned .
