Got to say black walnut. I'd grab it, looks easy to get to. Split it, stack it, and it will burn fine in 2015-16.

Its Elm! But Walnut smells like olive Oil.What does it smell like...Elm is a unique smell....black walnut...not so much. ?
I cranked it up the best I could, still pretty sure of elm. How do you brighten it?Did you turn up the brightness and look at it close?

Siberian elm. I have taken 3 down in the last year around the house. Cut it into rounds soon and it may be good to go by 2015! Very wet wood in my experiences.
