Wood Week 09: Woodpile Growing.

Here's some pictures of our woodpile growing in chronological order. Last week was my yearly trip with my Dad and Uncle to get firewood.

A second landing lower on our road into the camp... We'll just buck those into the pick-up at a later date.

A few more....

50 ft of rope. Two 6 ft ish men.

Big Oak will have to be taken out with a trailer. We definately aren't moving that with an ATV. It's not far from the main road otherwise it would be what we like to call bush food.

These were taken at the end of the week.

Two ends of a 50 ft rope, and then a side-on view of the finished pile.

Not really sure what the final tally was, but the pile above doesn't include the logs at the second landing, nor the large oak rounds.... Also I took a truck and trailer home mid-week.

stepdads- jonsered 535 with 16inch bar/carlton chains.
