i was looking at the weight of the the wood i have been stacking in the basement. looking at the chart at sweep,s. 5 cords of locust 19,125, 2 cords of ash 6,970 ,half a cord of red oak 1785, and half a cord of maple 1870, total weight 29,750 lbs.no wonder i get tired of stacking.and i do it every year. and how many times have i moved it all.5 or 6 times. k

You made my legs/knees start to ache. Ive got 30 cord of mixed hardwood and another 2-3 of pine stacked and drying. Hard to believe one guy can move that much weight.
