Would you climb on this line?

The rope is made from nylon so it will have more stretch than a polyester rope. Not what you want if you are trying to SRT up the tree. Id bet that the rope would be great for a light/moderate duty lowering line though.
 
Why would you consider it?

Samson's description for this ropes use: " * Secondary Mooring Lines " I'm sure they mean tying down boats to keep them from going elsewhere.

That didn't mention any sort of tree work, did it? I'm sure it's plenty strong, but probably doesn't stand up to friction too well. Most nylon ropes melt pretty easy. It might behave badly using some our knots, too.

If you have a source for some of this rope real cheap, then go for it. Otherwise, I'd buy what is built and tested for climbing on.
