Yes I would and I would put two or three large ratchet straps around the stem if it required rigging.

In hindsight, the truck tie-down OR the high strength chain would have been fine, but I used both.:msp_confused:

It did work. The bucket truck guy just took them of as he came down to them (three ties).

Good! it looks like we are all on the same page and Jeff your right it's not a big deal just looks intimidating. That tree is bigger than you think the pics don't do it justice. Now you guys can go back to talking about whats the better paint for your chipper and how gay MDS is.
