Wrap around chap question

Hello to all , this is my first post here so please bear with me.

I recently purchased a pair of Stihl wrap-around chaps and had a question reguarding the wrap that covers the calf. The left leg has the straight side of the chap running down the inside of the leg and the right leg has the straight side running down the outside of the leg almost as if there are two left legs, can anyone tell me if this is normal or am I missing somthing. Think about it. Those chaps are O.K.

If the saw grabs your chaps and spins them, which way will they turn? Assuming that you are holding it right handed as it was designed.
