I got me a lickity log spitter this week. After over a year of checking up on ads, only to be XXX day/days late (sorry, its been sold) I found one on craigslist. PM with details on how to post and Ill take some pics. Then I can put some woodpile pics on too, unless my oaks all gone by then,(wood selling season is here!). I would love to post some vids of my lickitys in action. Its seems like alot of people on here dont know about them old lickitys.

I have an old Lickety I got for free a number of years ago. See this thread: http://www.arboristsite.com/showthread.php?t=81060&page=2

What model do you have?

The only source for parts that I know of is about 5 miles from me in Santa Cruz County in Califonia. It is called Webb Chain Saw. They have parts and owner's manuals. Here is his web site: http://www.webbsfarmsupplies.com/

Post pictures when you figure it out. I'd love to see yours. Mine is at a friend's place right now. WHen I get up there next I'll post some pictures of it.

BTW I grew up in Calumet City, IL. Where are you?

its a 528, same as super3's, cept with a longer frame for splitting fence posts. I had a table made to raise them up so no bending over. I just pick up the big bigs with a skid steer, or crack em down with the bobcat spitter.
