Hi,
New guy here. Renting in Grafton County, NH, but having a house built on ~40 acres in Coös County.
Not in the business, but I've been coming here for years for info so finally decided to join.
Heat with wood, never passed a good chunk of hardwood that I didn't want to pick up, and generally prefer to process my own firewood.
Husky is my brand because that what the dealers are here. Have a 550 XP Mk II set up with an 18 and a 20" bar and a 572XP set up with a 24 and 28".
I keep telling myself that I'll buy a woodsplitter next year. I already have four cords of hand processed oak, maple, and beech stashed at my new place.
Speaking of the new house-isn't it lovely. The excavator's bucket needs to get out of my laundry room though. Not holding my breath on it being move in ready next year, but we'll see.
