    Chainsaw gas

I use 93 octane and synthetic oil. No problems and it stores well.

    Bandsaw mills or chainsaw mill

Hamish, like SPM said, they both have their place. I started out with an Alaskan, moved up to a Woodbug and last year bought a LT15 - getting older. I have cut much more lumber this past year because of the bandsaw. It depends on what you want to do.

    Woodbug Dimensions?

    024 AV Super or 015 AVT ?

Brian, I had a 011 and really liked it. The reed went, I rebuilt it and gave it to my son. (I wanted to buy a new saw:-) Where in VT are you located? Us woodchucks need to stick together. :D

Superstrut is Super for Guide Rails

Those of us who are snowed in are very envious of you. Nice pics - makes me want to get into the woods even more! :chainsaw: The Woodbug setup is similar in that the sawdust is kicked up. I use the material that comes from mud flaps as a deflector.

    011/012 parts

It worked for me. I rebuilt an 011 a couple of years ago and I was successful with the grease method. Probably shouldn't have too much coffee before attempting it though! :)

Remote D Log Cabin Milling help please.

Take look at the Logosol or Woodbug mills. I know a guy who built his house and barn out of logs milled 3-sided on the Logosol and I have the Woodbug. I think both are a step above the Alaskan or the mini-mill mills.

BobL I always look forward to your pictures. You do have different and very beautiful wood "down under". Thanks for sharing these pics and the many of your mill.

    Trying to beat the snow

After hearing the weather report, I headed for the woodlot to mill the poplar that I cut down last weekend. It was a beautiful day and I brought home a load. Now to get it stickered and covered before it does snow!

    Back at it - kinda

I don't mill much during the summer months and I look forward to Fall to make chips. This summer a pine blew down at the golf course where I work part-time. I ended up with 9 - 8ft logs and got some pretty nice lumber. The pic will show that I did this during summer. This fall I had 3 - 8ft...

    MS 200T gas tanks

A week or two ago I bought a 200T with a cracked gas tank. I bought a tank which is different, in that it has two hoses/pipes instead of the one from the original. ( Original is on the left, new on the right) I believe I was told by someone on here that Stihl made an adapter kit for this tank...

    MS 200T help?

Thanks, guys. I found one on ebay and took my chances. Half the price of a new one, so we'll see. If it doesn't work, you'll hear from me yet again:cry:

    Milling Some Cherry and Maple

Nice looking lumber! I think it's a real bonus when you build "stuff" and you did it all from falling the tree to building the object.

    mystery in the sticker pile

Hi WS, Looks to me as if the "dirty" area might be mold induced and for some reason the wax is a barrier to the spread. Can't wait to hear other theories! Kit

    Twenty dollars worth of cherry

Nice load! Worth every penny of your gas money! I love freebees, no matter how much they cost:rock:
