Thanks for the feedback so far....The challenge with the processor is that you need timber to work efficiently. I get all my wood from a tree service and they cuts everything into 12-24 inch lengths so they can carry them to the truck.
When They dump them in my yard I just go through and buck...
Hi gang. I am trying to squueze a bit more efficiency out of my operation and want to see what ideas you have.
I have an old but not so used up timberwolf with log lift and 4 way wedge. I generally get my wood from a landscaper already bucked up into random lengths. I have a marker that i can...

What are some decent make dump trailers? Bri-mar is some stout equipment but has a pricetag to match. Anything else out there comparable that is in the 5x8 or 5x10 catagory?
I'd like to hear from the guys that own super splitters and let me know what you think of them for production work....say under 30 cords a year.
Are they reliable? Will it out perform / underperform a timberwolf with a 4 way wedge (amount of wood split in same amount of time)
Let me know...
multi way wedge for super splitter?
Can you add a 4 way wedge to a super splitter? Just seems like it's slightly faster than a hydro splitter but could ge tmore production from a 4 way wedge and a slower cycle time than a single wedge on a super splitter?
I am a small firewood outfit. Firewood is not my primary business but do want to grow it with my son. Was thinking about purchasing a bigger splittler like a norther hydraulics with log lift, a timberwolf or possibly a smallfirewood processor. Abviously money or the time to pay back the...
In other words....how many choices do you give your customers?

So my son and I are outsie splitting wood. Pat says... hey dad we need to put something here to catch the logs. So I go into the shop and fabricate a small table that rests inside the I beam for him. My wife is like...why can't you go a day without modifying something (as a joke). This made me...
