Also if you have to use a saw to get it done you would probably mess a chain up with the steel ones stuck in it.

Nope, no way. Hey, if they wait long enough maybe the tree will just give up and fall over from the weight of all the arguments about it.
1. Just back a pickup up to the tree...very gently. Don't bump the tree. One guy driving and one guy in the back. The guy in back hooks a chain or a good stout cable as high around the tree as he can reach and pulls it snug. Just snug...don't yard on it. Be sure the other end of the cable is fastened to the tow hitch.
Make sure the chain or cable is longer than the tree is tall...make real sure.
2. The guy in the back of the pickup climbs out and stands ahead and just off to one side of the pickup where he can see the tree and the driver. Again...farther away than the tree is tall.
3. The guy driving the pickup pulls ahead slowly and smoothly to avoid shock-loading the tree and the rigging.
4. Tree falls over. Everybody involved gives each other "ain't we cool high fives", retrieves the rigging and has a beer.
Don't over complicate things.

Doesn't look like it'll fall backwards with that huge back wedge felling cut thing & it probably aint going sideways either....rope it and tug you'll see if it's going anywhere...

Heck, its only a mobile home. If this "tree" doesn't get it the next tornado will. Just tie it as high as you can (no ladders or spikes) and gently pull it over.
Cordon off at least 1 square mile. See if you can find the wedge that was cut out. Glue it back in. Mix sawdust with glue and fill the patented sloping backcut. Start over with correct cutting techniques.

I hate people making fun of ideas they have never tried. A million people will give all kinds of advice but haven't actually cut down any simlar trees. (I have done so). At least my idea has no drawbacks and is quite safe. (And if anyone is suggesting cutting into steel with a chainsaw...well, if you have that little control over your chainsaw, leave the tree falling to others).

Personally, I would just step up above the mess, fall it in the direction I wanted, then go back and cut the stump off at the level the previous person started....

I have! And at least when I was cutting my trees like that, they DID fall! (see my pictures) I didn't need someone to come behind me to clean up the mess. But I learned the error of my ways here on AS. And i will NEVER use a steel wedge when felling a tree. That is unless I want my blade chewed to death and likely unusable after. I don't care how much control you think you have, all it takes is a little nail or pebble to cause a kickback right into the metal wedge. Smart money uses the plastic ones.
