How about tying a saw to the front of the loco and going for a drive down the rails? Should be really efficient.

LOL, it is not free of issues.
p/c are great on the inside, plenty of compression. Sparkplug threads have some damage, should be alright for a while.

two of the three screws holding the top plastic down are stripped

both of the screws holding the inner dog have been stripped in the past and now have oversized screws forced in.

replaced front bar stud, old one had its threads buggered up

the green elbow for the tank vent won't stay put.

silly little problems that should not have been there if someone took proper care of it, but a bargain still the same, it will be a race saw for the rips when I get done with it.

had a chat with my brother earlier tonight, he sent me a link to some nice sounding radial engines, I suggest playing this over a decent sound system or good headphones, pity about the ending tho

busted the side corner off a moler thou feels like canyon crater to my tongue,,,, flip last time I was at old dentist was 2000 he's prolly dead n buried by now so where do i go Monday?? till then I'll need my 3/16 - 4.8 mm file to clean up the rough sharp edges

had the pa cranked up anyway, nearly blew me bloody ears off! haha!!! nice models, shame about the end. are they kits or one offs?

My old man has been flying RC planes for 50 years. His whole shed is full of the bastards. I got in the sh*t once because the Riverland Model Aero club is just over the road from my mum and dad's house and I decided to get my Tamiya Grasshopper RC car out for a run. Was a bit too young to realise that my 29mhz radio was on the same frequency as one of the planes flying around. I couldn't work out why my car was going funny with jittery servos etc and found out later I'd stuck one of the member's planes into the dirt as my transmitter was interfering with his plane. I had my arse kicked by dad and had the crap abused out of me by the member. From then on whenever I decided to drive my RC car on weekends I had to go down to the flying field and whack a tag on the frequency board they had set up.
These new 2.4ghz setups are awesome as this can't happen.

The 395 should be tops, just found the spark plug lead has been shorting out, I bet this saw drove the last owner around the twist :hmm3grin2orange:

Flat out day in the garden. Pole saw and pole hedger copped a good flogging.
Pole saw needs a few improvements but went great.
Even the little redheaded step daughter of a saw got a run on the lemon tree.
Arrr I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning and in the afternoon.
Gotta get a mulcher now. Have about 6m2 to reduce.

Had a lazy day today was out all night shooting bunnys 19 all with mixo
Today I split about a ton of spotty and blood wood with my X25 love that splitter and washed the car and rebuilt the 034 I got with a brand new genuine stihl cylinder and piston brand new got 1 tank through it what a great little saw they are

got the 750evl together today (finally) and made a few cuts. still needs a good tune (idles fast,cuts off a bit at wot) but she goes well. result!!! thanks to the tip shop not selling anymore and thanks to matt for the b n c! suddenly found heaps to do that needs the mill and lathe i borrowed too, yey! may be needing MORE hours in the day!!!
also got the little kemppi out, love that thing! HURRAH for sunny spring days! (i work outside the shed as theres a dozen projects waiting on parts, time or money in there!)

drinking cider and dribbling happily!
